Wrapped Around Her Finger

Dej has got her daddy wrapped around her little finger. He may not like to admit that, but I think it is so cute. Dej has been way into having her glasses....and has finally started to wear them the right way.

So one weekend, after Dad had been gone for a very long week (he had left on Sunday and didn't get home til one Friday night) Dej woke up excited to see Dad and the special 'prizes' he brought home for her...

...and then the cute little purse to hold some new glasses. The purse wasn't actually something Dad brought home. He brought home some pants from the Children's Place, but they didn't fit Dej right, so we took them back. At the store I didn't see anything else to get and was ready to just take our money and leave. BUT...when I was looking around, Chase was holding Deja....one of the employees showed her their 'cute little sun glass purses'. Deja latched onto one, with a new pair of sun glasses. I was getting ready to take the purse and glasses to put away...and have Chase run out of the store with a screaming Dej...but to my surprise, Chase took Dej with the new purse and glasses up to the register. She was beyond excited and carried that thing around for the next week. (We still have to have it with us in the car whenever we go some place!)
