Graduation!!

This was the big weekend....Chase graduated! Yea! He's officially done with school!! He's still going to town sending out his resume and trying to find a good job, so hopefully he'll find something soon.

This picture isn't the best...but you can tell it's him from his khaki pants! Good Job Chase...I am so proud of you and all your hard work!!

We had such a fun weekend....both of our families came up for it, but I'll have to wait and post more pictures later (when I get them from my mom)! Thanks everyone for all your support...we love you all!!

Baby Goats...Baby Puppies...Baby Baby?!!

I am going to try and fit as many pictures as I can into this one because I have so many cute pictures, I can’t decide which to use and not use!!

We have been surrounded by so many cute babies lately!! First, for Mother’s Day we were in Declo (where we got to see all the moms!!) and my cousin had a brand new pigmy goat. She bought the goat Thursday morning and by Thursday night she had two more little baby goats! They are so dang cute!! They make the cutest little ‘naaaa’ cry… both Chase and I loved them! We’ve already decided that when we get a house and yard…we’re getting a goat to go with it!!

Then, Monday my sister called me because she found a puppy that she wants….only problem is it’s in Oregon. So, Chase and I drove to Onterio yesterday to meet the lady half way and pick up not one, but TWO puppies!! ---one for my sister and one for her friend.

They are so so so dang cute!! I love them! So now, we have two puppies and two bunnies (which I still need to get pictures of) in our apt. with no pets allowed!! =) We’ll only have the puppies until this weekend, so they can’t get mad at us!

Both the puppies are little girls….and they are mini pinschers. Their cute little faces, and bouncy little bodies just make you melt!!

AND…as far as real babies go, we’re not making any announcements. Puppies (and all the messes, work, crying, up at night, ect.) ….as cute at they are, have helped me to rethink the baby thing!!

more mountain biking!

I'm sure I'll have plenty of mountain biking posts by the end of the summer since that has been pretty much what I do every night after work...and on Saturday afternoons! This is a picture of the girls....me, Kira, Kelsie, and Jeni last Saturday. (I need to add that Kira's husband came too and kept us in line...he's behind the camera) We made a great group and had a blast together....hopefully we'll have lots more rides to come!! I'm becoming addicted...not only is it a killer workout, but it's so much fun you don't even realize how hard you are pushing your body!! Yeah for rock hard abs, buns, thighs, calves....and arms from hanging on to the handle bars too tight! =)

ONE YEAR!!!

Opps! I forgot to post on our ONE YEAR MARK!! On April 20th we celebrated our First Anniversary!! Hurray!

Due to leap year, the actual day was on Sunday....which turned out great!! We don't have any extra cash to run off for the weekend, so we got to lay around and be lazy together all day!

I tried to be a gourmet cook and make Chase a five-star dinner: Mango-Avocado Mahi Mahi with Chocolate Fondue for dessert. My fish ended up tasting like dirt...which I don't think was my fault (dang Costco sold me old fish!) Thank goodness for dessert! ....we both just got sick off of the pound of melted chocolate we had!!! Yummy!
