We were able to spend Christmas in Declo this year.
Krew was so tired going down that he couldn't even finish his cheeseburger before his little eyes shut!
We had lots of fun with our cousins!
The kids made special cookies for Santa
Krew, once again didn't really want to partake in the fun.
But he did pleasantly watch, once he got his binky in his mouth.
Then we told the Christmas story.... Deja bounced back and forth being Mary and an Angel.
Krew was our self-appointed 'animal herder' ....he kept stealing all the animals and running off with them. (I think he just likes to make the little girls scream....so he does all he can for that reaction!)
The cute girlie cousins. These two are so cute together and have so much fun.
We really tried to get a cute picture of the kids before they went to sleep....but they weren't about to cooperate. Krew wouldn't give up his bink and Dej wouldn't put down the 'wiseman gift' from our nativity.
The kids went down for bed great tho!! Their big cousin Tyler was tracking Santa for us, and once he hit South America Tyler excitedly told everyone that 'he was too close and they needed to hurry and get in bed!' Deja jumped up and started following everyone else.....without really realizing what she was doing. It was awesome!!
I love Christmas mornings with lots of people and lots of boxes and bags and toys all around...there's just something to it that makes it so much fun! (Teva found her present from Santa very quickly and plopped down right in the middle of everyone)
Krew....surprise! didn't really care for opening presents. So almost every picture I got of him that morning was in his papa's arms. He sure loves his papa!
We did convince him to unwrap a few..... I think it was worth his effort!
These two little girls were so cute!! They would excitedly run back and forth showing each other what they got! I loved their enthusiasm for each other's gifts!
Earlier in the month, Deja had noticed that one rather large present under Gramma Jacki's tree had her name on it. She could not wait to get her hands on it (in fact, when we got to gramma's house the day before Christmas Eve the first thing she did was to run and grab her present under the tree.... she was a little put out when I told her she had to wait a few more days!)
....worth the wait! She got a Frozen castle!
After a super fun Christmas day, we got to turn around and do it all again the next day....
We went to Pocatello to have our Christmas with Papa Greg and Gramma Tammy and the rest of our family.
It's so sad how quickly it comes and goes....but it sure is fun in the moment!! What a wonderful Christmas we were able to have. I'm so glad we were able to spend it with all of our family!
