Oh my gosh!! I am so so terrible! Chase had a birthday last Sunday and I completely forgot to do a birthday post! I'm sure he could care less, but I still want to post. He got to spend his birthday in Germany, which I hope made it a little different than any other year. So...better late than never, HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHASE!!
......
Taking the risk at sounding super sappy and making a great post for the 'Seriously So Blessed' blog, I wanted to tell the blogging world that I LOVE my Husband! This time apart has made me realize how grateful I am that even though we may have times apart we're Together Forever! .... it has also helped me to see the little things that make us so right for each other and that make me love him more and more each day!

SURPRISE!!!
So the Saturday before Thanksgiving my cousin had me go to Declo for her little boy's birthday party. It was such a cute party...(unfortunately I didn't get any pics). While I was there Syd stepped outside for a sec... she came back in and said "Dani...look who I found outside!" I looked up and Chase walked in the door!! I was so shocked I didn't know how to react! I just started for a sec, then I think my jaw dropped to the ground...after picking it up, I ran to him for a hug to make sure he was real! I don't think I've ever been that surprised...it was awesome!
He was coming home from Germany the day before and I had been trying to call him all morning. I wanted to make sure he got back to Memphis ok and I was starting to get a little upset because he wouldn't answer his phone..... little did I know it was because he was on his way to the party! I didn't think Chase (or the rest of the fam) had it in them to pull off a surpise that big...but I'm sure glad they did. It was the best thing EVER! I was feeling so bad about me being here with family for Thanksgiving, and Chase having to be in Memphis all by himself. It was just too awesome that he was going to be here with me for the whole week! Needless to say, it will be one of the most memorable and best Thanksgivings ever!!

A Happy Thanksgiving
Since this is about the only place that I am writing down things lately, I wanted to make a list of the top few things I thought about this Thanksgiving.....
- Having Chase home.
- Having such an awesome family...both mine and Chase's.
- The gospel.
- Having Temples close by.
- A healthy body.
We were so lucky to be able to spend Thanksgiving with both of our families this year. I just love Thanksgiving and the excuse to have everyone get together for a day! I didn't get a picture of my family together, but we did get one at Chase's parents.
It was the first time we've all been together since the newest addition (Shaun and Jess's little guy...Ryan) -it was way belayed and so much fun!
