Hoppy Easter

I'm not going to lie....I was really hoping, and kinda thinking we'd have a baby here for Easter.  So, I really wasn't the most pleasant thing to be around when it came and went without a baby.
I did have some cute littles to enjoy it with tho!  Thanks to Gramma Tammy, they had matching outfits to wear to church.... like I said....I kinda threw in the towel! (and...thank goodness the Easter Bunny had to pee ten times at night...or the baskets he got for the kids wouldn't have made their appearance!!)

THE Very Best that I could get from them.....!

This kid... again, the best I got.

When Krew smiles lately....his eyes go completely shut!  They were both pretty excited for their easter get-up tho!
And...I guess I wasn't totally lame, I did brave the mess of coloring eggs with littles!

They had a pretty good time..... Mo liked the aftermath as well.  That kid will eat 3 or 4 hard boiled eggs for breakfast!

Our kids are pretty lucky that we have such awesome neighbors!  They've gotten in on a pretty sweet Easter Egg Hunt the last few years.
There's a plethora of  eggs and only a handful of kids to get them....so they Load Up!!

We did talk about the "real" reason we have Easter.... that's a little trickier to explain to a toddler.  It's sweet to see their sad expressions when we talk about how the 'mean' people hurt Jesus...and I love (even tho some may be hard to answer) all their questions about the resurrection.  I just hope they can gain a good, solid, strong testimony of all that Christ did for us and learn how important it is to have Him as a constant in our lives.

We Call Him MO

Oh this child of mine!  I thought Deja was a handful at this age....but I think my little Krew dude has passed her up significantly!!  He has got a mind of his own and is so freaking hard headed!
He has started saying "Mo!" (no) to EVERYthing....so it's kinda stuck with him. He is now more often than not called Mo and will always answer to it!  In fact, the other day, I said "Hey Dude!".... he looked at me, patted himself on the chest and said "MO!"
But (thank goodness) for every once of hard, he is two ounces of cute!!  He can be so so sweet!
He loves to talk on the phone to his papas.  And his is obsessed with anything that goes 'vroom'.
He's gotten quite the long shaggy 'do and it fits him perfectly!!
I love his wicked bedhead.
Mo, I sure do love you!!

Birthday "Party" at the Zoo

We have a rule at our house...we only go to the zoo when it is cold :)
I cant stand going when it's hot and miserable and you sweat to death!!
And I'm not a fan of the crowds....you have less people to fight at the glass when its cooler.

With that being said, Chase was gone on my birthday & I just wanted to have a fun day with my kiddos....so we loaded up and went to the zoo!

My darn phone's flash didnt go off.... but Deja liked seeing the lions.
And they both loved watching the monkeys.  They were pretty active, especially compared to the other animals, so they got our attention for a good while.

Krew was pretty excited when he found the old jeep they have sitting out  He quickly took the wheel and made us wait for him for a bit!

This has probably been one of our best trips to the zoo.  Both kids were old enough to get into it this time...so we actually got to run around and take it all in.

After the zoo we grabbed some lunch and went home tired and worn out....and got to enjoy a nice nap time.
Birthdays arent really that exciting for me anymore...I'm not a huge fan of getting closer to existing my twenties, but we'll take any excuse to have an all day play day!! Sure am glad I have these two cuties to spend my days with!

'Unders!'

Krew got some Unders!!  He's  shown alittle interest in pooping in the potty...so we grabbed some unders at the store to help keep him excited about it.  (he only wore them about 5 minutes, but now we have them for when we are ready!)
A picture says a thousand words...and I got a bunch of them!

(had to show off those big muscles!)

...and, of course, big sister had to get in on the picture taking too! :)

Love these two of mine!

The Princess Ball

Our library hosted a 'Princess Ball' one night.  Deja was so excited to get all dressed up and go!

Ha! ...so excited she couldn't even pose normal for a picture before we left!

Deja's friend, Charlotte and her mom, went with us.  Dej strategically dressed as Snow White so that they would match!

The library staff reenacted a book about Rapunzel, the girls went on a scavenger hunt, made crowns, wands, and danced the night away.   They even had a bunch of yummy cake pops for dessert!
It was pretty fun!
