Summer of Boating

Between Papa Orllo....Courtney and Jason...and a few of our good friends in Boise, we got in a lot of boating this summer!!

A picture says a thousand words on most these.....

(she's totally faking it...no falling asleep on the boat this year!)
Krew insisted on driving every time.

 Krew...mom...and aunt Jeni

Krew and Dej with mom, Jeni and Carson.... we got sank on this one, poor babies didn't like that all too much!

 Boating wipes you OUT!

She didn't like getting in this day.....??!

Brave girl tubing all by herself!

Yes...Krew went out by himself too...totally against his mom's will.  He only went about 5-10 feet and we just idled....
What a super fun way to spend the summer!!!  ....I kinda get why some people like it.
BRING ON THE SNOW THO!!! :)

Krew Dude is 18 months!

Boy oh boy do we love this little guy....he makes our house so happy.

He adores his older sister, and she loves him back equally.  Like any siblings, they can make you crazy when they fight (Krew's even catching on to what makes Dej scream...the other day, we were in the store and I was holding Krew- he was tired and had his head rested on my shoulder.  Deja was also tired...she was crying because she wanted me to hold her and not Krew.... Krew saw this and immediately threw his arms around my neck, giving me the best hug, while saying 'My Mom!' over and over again.  -It worked...Dej screamed and cried!!)
...but times like these...when they get along makes it all worth it!
Krew is obsessed with "brooom brooooms" and has taken claim over Deja's little four wheeler.  He spends most his days riding that around the house.
Anything Deja does, Krew wants to also.
He thought he was some pretty hot stuff when he got to use markers too!
I have this little bench sitting under the back kitchen window....Krew will rip the cushion and pillows off so that he can stand on the bench to watch (usually dad) out in the back yard.

He loves to watch what dad is doing....and usually doesn't stay too content with being in the house while dad is outside.

Fits perfectly in Deja's little baby bed :)
He is also quite the big helper...
He loves to vacuum and sweep....wipe down windows and rearrange laundry all over the house :)

This kid LOVES his blankies.  He has to have ALL of them before he will lay down at night....I guess that means he can already count to three, right?!  He is also an AWESOME sleeper.  He doesn't do record long naps (some days he will still do two short ones), but he does go down quick and easy at night.  Just give him his bink, blankies, have a water bottle nearby... and he lays down and we usually dont hear from him until the next morning.  There are many days I seriously appreciate this!

Krew loved playing the playstation with uncle boo.  Brods turned on a motorcycle game and Krew was glued...he even got to hold a controller.
Ha!  He looked like such a little dork with his knee high socks and tennis shoes...still so cute!!
This kid loves to get into the tools and 'construction zones' we have around our house.

 Lookin' good dude!

This kid is such a little monkey!!!  He climbs on EVERYthing and drives me crazy!!!
He will push chairs all around the house to get into what he wants.
He will also climb up on top of his high chair.  It no longer has a seat belt....so I resulted in tying his ankles together with a shoelace for a while there.
Monkey see....monkey do.  We worked liked crazy for a few weeks to get our basement ready to rent...Krew was right in the middle of it all.  He disappeared one day and this is how I found him :)
 Sunday naps are the best!
Chasing after his sister at the park behind our house.
He loves to snap chat our gramma and aunts!
He LOVES any pasta (other than spaghetti)... this afternoon, he made his mac and cheese extra special by adding cheetos to it!

 Chillaxin' in his high chair.

With turning 18 months comes entry into the nursery..... sad, sad day for this little bug.
He HATES nursery and usually starts screaming after we say amen to the closing prayer in sacrament meeting!  One day when I picked him up, he had stopped screaming...but was still trying to catch his breath.  I told him to tell his teacher bye...he waved and tried to be happy as he said bye.  She waved back and said see ya next week...to which Krew put his head in his hands and started to sob all over again...poor little dude!!
He did smile for me later when I asked him about nursery...

He likes to steal our hats and run around the house with them on.
Listening to the ipod while we drove to gramma's house.

Selfie I found on my phone :)
Deja helped us break him in to Krispie Kream....I think he's a fan.

Ha!! Busted!  While I was making dinner, he pushed the chair to the cupboard with crackers in it, got his crackers, and then hid behind the chair to eat them.  When I saw him and took his picture....he got up and ran to the dinning room, where he hid under the table to finish off his stash.
LOVES pasta, but not so much the stuff I try to throw in it....he handed me his bowl for seconds this night....when I got up to get him more I saw his little stash of tomatoes and bacon that he'd taken out!

For the most part, this little guy is pretty darn happy.  He gives The Best loves and actually listens pretty well.  At his 18 month checkup he weighed in at 22 lbs 10 oz (20-something percentile) and jumped in height (from the 30th to the 60th %tile) to 33.25".
