Stupid Dog!

Sooo.....we just finished putting in our new hardwood floor. We decided to go big on our flooring on the new casa and spent the extra $$$ to get the real hardwood. Well.....after getting all of the kitchen and living room down, Chase had to work on leveling the front part of the house before he could finish laying the floor in the dining room and entry (the leveling is another story for another day....when I do a massive house post!). To do this, he painted a primer on the floor.....just as he put the roller down, Teva walked thru the wet primer and onto the hardwood floor..... she made sure to walk from one side to the other and then across the whole thing, leaving white doggie paw prints the whole way. We were freaking out.... she's lucky she ran for her life and hid downstairs because had we not been occupied trying to find rags and cleaner we may have killed her!!! Anyways....in all the commotion, Deja was very interested and right in the middle of it all. I must have repeated 'stupid dog' several times as I tried to explain to her that Teva was naughty and tried to ruin our new floor....because, the next day Deja walked into the dining room and saw dusty doggie prints on the floor. She immediately huffed and said "Stupid Dog!!".... then she ran into the kitchen and returned with a rag we used from the day before and began to scrub the floor, getting rid of the paw print for me. She's such a good little helper!! :) ...This picture is missing Teva, but it's definitely blog worthy :) Deja and her baby took over Teva's bed one morning as their 'snuggie spot'.
