Happy Halloween!!

This year we were lame and picked a few pumpkins from out in front of Fred Meyers about an hour before we carved them with some friends....but at least we did it, right?!

Krew  didn't really care for it too much....which kinda surprised me.  I thought he'd like getting his hands all dirty...Dej might have influenced him a bit tho, she didn't like getting her hands in it either.

She did help me design a good 'scary' face for our pumpkin.

We also made some Halloween cookies....I was super surprised by Deja's creativity.  She used our little bat sprinkles as bows on her kitties!

THEN....on Halloween, we had a little party (because Dej missed her preschool party).

We made pizzas for dinner.

Then we played Halloween Bingo...

And pin the spider on the web....

And musical chairs....

Then we all went out trick or treating.  It was a pretty fun night!  

The kids were so stinkin' cute.  Krew wasn't sure what was happening at first.  He'd kinda just stand behind the kids and stare.  Then, he caught on that candy was being given at each door....he would tag along beside Dej and stand waiting so cute at the door.  After the candy was given out, the other kids would turn and run to the next house, and Krew would still be standing at the door smiling at the person that just gave him candy.  We had to go up and get him every time :)

After we got a few houses in, a puppy came to the door with the owner.  Krew was so excited!  After that all he cared about were the puppies at each house....forget the candy.  When people would come to the door, he'd try his hardest to look around them, back into their house, to see if they had a dog.  He looked like a little creeper trying to peek in at everyone! 

We went to so many doors and got so much candy....Deja finally requested that we be done and go back home! :) And....just like last year, the next day she was asking me when we could go trick or treating again!
