Harvest

Chase has been pretty dang busy with harvest this year. Luckily for us girls...we got to tag along while he was working in Raft River. Teva loves to go to the country....she acts like she is a big cow dog (as long as the cows are on the other side of the fence). Dej was very concerned the first time Teva jumped up on the hay bale....she starting pointing and scolding her to get 'down!'
She was ok with it once she got up with her! I love this little girl....and, no she didn't dress herself this day, it was actually her mom....we decided to go down to gramma and papa's last minute and hadn't done laundry, so we wore what we had and took all the dirty clothes with us to be washed!
Checking out the moooo's.
Dej still prefers the cows from a distance....but gramma did get her pretty close for a while, while they tried to feed them.
We went out to see the big brroooom brroooooms..... Chase's good friend, Layne, was out digging up potatoes (which by the way is pretty cool to see, especially if you've never seen it before!)
Layne was awesome and let Chase and Dej get up in the tractor with him for a while.... Deja Loved it. Every time they went by she was all smiles and waving her little arm at us!
We also got to go to a huge raspberry patch to pick a bunch for jam. (It actually worked out great.....Dej slept for two hours while we all picked...then she woke up just in time to pick a few herself)
We told her they were 'candy' so she'd try them, but it didn't work! She just fed them to everyone else. :)
As we drove away from the patch, Deja said "Bye Candy" and waved to the raspberries.
Chase has done well suiting this little gal up....he got her some dang cute sweatshirts and bootcut jeans while he was in California..... the jeans are seriously SO cute with her boots! She looks like she belongs on that hay bale!
Dej loves her dad....I think she liked tagging along for the week.....usually, when he leaves, Mondays are hard for both her and Teva. Teva cries at the door all day and Dej constantly asks "where dad go?"
