For our first 'go' at anything close to preschool, I decided to start with shapes. I drew up a few circles and wrote a different color inside each one, with the intent of Dej matching the colors and coloring each circle accordingly. When I looked over to see how she was doing, she matched up the colors perfectly...but instead of scribbling inside, she was mimicking my circles. Simple, yes. But it's those simple things that can melt your heart and make you beam with pride!

I love this. I know exactly what you mean. I remember the first time T did something like this. I about burst into tears! So fun watching them grow. And you are right, she is beautiful!
